Job Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Embraces and supports the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) philosophy.
  • Adheres to ESP and Customer Service Rules, Values Statement, Confidentiality.
  • Acknowledges that safety is a self‑responsibility. Knows the physical requirements of the job and works within those guidelines. Performs job duties safely at all times, utilizing learned body mechanics and transferring/lifting techniques. Plans actions to promote safety. Reports any unsafe situation/equipment according to policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for loading all IS/IT, Equipment, and General Service agreements/contracts into SCIS system, including expiration dates and present to Sourcing no less than 90 days prior to expiration.
  • Manages the rebate program and works with finance to ensure rebates are assigned to appropriate hospitals and departments as necessary through the use of Excel, Access, or other means. Also provides data for analysis by management or their designee.
  • Manages the recalls process from start to finish, utilizing both electronic tracking system and internal processes. Responsible for ensuring we have a documented process to comply with audits.
  • Responsible for handling all product issues related to SCM functions within the Munson Healthcare VOICE system.
  • Responsible for working with the vendors and reps to ensure recall and VOICE reported product is returned properly according to regulations.
  • Coordinate and monitor the P‑Card program, including monthly reports provided to Accounting, transaction spot auditing, and compliance with existing policies regarding the program.
  • Manages the Fuel Card Program within the Munson Healthcare system, reviews program to ensure compliance and handles all administration of the program.
  • Serves as the back‑up to the SCIS Specialist who is responsible for entering and updating item pricing in the SCIS for all items purchased under contracts of any kind.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Business or accounting, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business setting (purchasing preferred) and a need for planning and coordination.
    • Position requires good communication skills, analytical skills, coordination, detail orientation, and successful completion of projects in a complex organizational business setting.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.
    • Experience with Supply Chain Management or Healthcare preferred.
    • Efficient with MS Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, etc.
