A Day inthe Life

• As a Medical Business Specialist (Receptionist), you are the first point of contact for patients & their families. Your personal interaction and efficiency start the path for an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing.
• You will obtain/verifyall required patient and insurance information and enterthe information into the registration system in an accurate manner.
• You will schedule patient appointments which may include return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures.
• You will set the tone forthe visit! You will greet patients professionally in person and over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.

What’s Required

• High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree Preferred
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
