Producing the optimum metallurgical properties including excellent distortion control and uniformity of hardness have been our goal. Operate heat treat furnaces and equipment to produce a properly heat-treated product to meet customer requirements.

• 1. Operate and work in safe manner and follow all safety regulations.
• 2. Build furnace loads for heat treat operation.
• 3. Operate gas/electric/salt furnaces to meet customer requirements.
• 4. Perform hardness inspection on customer parts.
• 5. Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule.
• 6. Perform general cleaning tasks to help maintain a clean and organized facility
• 7. Operate fork truck
• 8. Cross train in other departments.
• 9. Attend / complete onsite education regarding heat treating and metallurgy.

• 1. No previous experience required. Additional training will be provided in-house through multiple methods.
• 2. Must be able to multitask and maintain awareness and status of multiple furnaces.
• 3. General ability to operate a computer.
• 4. Ability to add and subtract time to determine proper beginning or ending of process.
• 5. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in oral and written formats.
• 6. Ability to communicate information to internal and external customers in one-on-one or small group setting.
• 7. Work overtime as required based on work volume in facility.
