We are committed to ongoing growth and development and offer a Critical Care Residency Program for new graduates to explore working in the ICU and cardiac critical care units, with pathways to additional professional opportunities after the 12-month residency.
Highlights include a combination of clinical and didactic training with hands-on experience, in-person critical care didactic training, high-fidelity skills labs and simulations, EKG training, case studies, and numerous clinical and critical-thinking experiences.
DetailsFirst Round Interview: A recruiter will reach out for a preliminary phone interview to learn about your interest in the position. Second Round Interview:
Panel interview with unit managers and residency team. Interviews start in September 2025 for the February 2026 cohort. In-person interviews are strongly encouraged for the second round. Further details will be shared upon application.

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Graduate nurses and new RNs are accepted; if starting as an RN, share proof of MI RN license.
- For those hired into an RN position after January 1, 2015, it is required to obtain a BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Medication delivery and narcotics counting or witnessing waste may not be done until RN licensure is obtained (if practicing as a GN).
- Experience in the clinical area of application is desirable.
