Grocery Buyer; Bulk

Oryana Community Co‑op is currently seeking a full‑time Grocery Buyer for Bulk Goods to support the Grocery Department at our Oryana West location.

• Stocking product
• Placing orders based on previous sales and future estimates
• Communicating effectively with the Grocery Manager, merchandisers and vendors
• Running, reading and understanding product movement reports
• Maintaining product knowledge for the department while keeping up to date on product and industry trends
• Open availability required with weekends and some evenings

This role requires organization, creativity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. An ideal candidate has grocery industry experience and a passion for Oryana's product offerings. Must be able to regularly move/transport up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Starting wage is $19.03-$21.07 per hour, experience considered, with a raise opportunity at 60 days.
