Plumbing Install Technician

Plumbing Install Technician role at Moore Mechanical. We host a DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program to support entry-level tradespeople.

• Installation of complete plumbing systems in residential and light commercial applications
• Demonstrate motivation and flexibility to handle responsibilities on both commercial and residential job sites
• Oversee crews of 2-10 plumbers, providing leadership and guidance
• Maintain a valid plumbing license to ensure regulatory compliance
• Attend weekly job meetings and coordinate with the on-site Supervisor and General Contractor
• Ensure work complies with engineering specifications and local building codes
• Maintain accurate work logs (job sites, time, equipment, materials, follow-up recommendations)
• Work with minimal supervision, applying independent decision-making to deliver quality work
• Train and mentor apprentices

• Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI
• 3+ years of Lead Plumber experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and fitting into tight spaces
• Skilled with power and hand tools
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Authorized to work in the US
