Education Supply Pool is a PAYE employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term positions on behalf of schools in Tredegar and surrounding areas. We are looking for candidates with at least a NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, or BA (Hons) in Education, or equivalent experience working within an education setting.

Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales.

• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulated activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Communicate effectively with other teachers and families when needed.

• Minimum 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or TA environment.
• NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) in Education, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum Teaching Assistant pay rate of at least £90 per day.
• Team with over twenty years’ experience in small, local, and large national education agencies.
• Dedicated account manager with a background in teaching.
• £125 recommend a friend scheme.
