Welsh speaking teaching assistants required to support day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions for schools in Tredegar and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or equivalent experience within an education setting.
• Minimum 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing lessons across all areas of the school curriculum, considering varied levels of student ability.
• Follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulated activities while ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and identify solutions when children encounter issues.
• Collaborate with teachers and families when needed, using strong communication skills.
