Costing Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Cost Accountant to join our team within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Tredegar. The role requires an individual with a strong background in accounting and finance to oversee cost management and financial reporting.

• Prepare and analyse detailed cost reports to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Provide accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with different departments to enhance cost efficiency.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support management with strategic planning and financial insights.
• Identify opportunities to optimise operational costs within the industrial/manufacturing processes.

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
• Experience in cost management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from £52,000 to £55,000.
• Early Friday finish transitioning into a hybrid working model.
