Sales Account Coordinator

Position

Sales Account Coordinator — £28,000–32,000 per year, plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Global manufacturer, Tredegar area. This customer‑services driven role is a newly created, office‑based position with a 12‑month contract at the start.

• Assist in the sale and support of products to OEM customers.
• Internal support and maintenance of customer databases.
• Act as point of contact for a set number of existing customers, ensuring regular communication and resolving outstanding issues.
• Anticipate possible delays or complications and communicate to management where appropriate.
• Co‑ordination of tooling invoicing and follow‑through to completion of payment.
• Coordinate with production and liaise with relevant departments to ensure delivery dates are met, including producing a daily order book report and conducting weekly reviews with the cross‑functional operations team.
• Review customer forecasts and coordinate internal or customer communication actions as needed.
• Undertake customer service activities, responding to technical, pricing and delivery enquiries and resolving customer complaints.
• Access and interrogate customer web bases / E.D.I. scheduling systems.
• Liaise with materials and production departments to define order availability.
• Perform other sales‑related activities as necessary.

• Experience with customers in a manufacturing or engineering organisation.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Experience in automotive or similar manufacturing company is ideal.
• Stable work record.

Monday – Friday, 36 hours with an early finish on Fridays.

Travel to work is required from Tredegar, Merthyr, Abergavenny, Pontypool, Newport, Ebbw Vale, Cwmbran, Hereford, or Brecon.
