We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Maes-Y-Dderwen

Maes-y-Dderwen is a 24 bed facility located in Tredegar, Gwent. The aim at Maes-y-dderwen is to meet the individual needs of every resident. To achieve this we use a person centred approach to care where the focus is on the strengths of the service users rather than pathology.

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding clinical care by:

• Assessing residents’ physical, emotional and psychological needs.
• Developing, reviewing and implementing person-centred care plans.
• Safely managing and administering medication in accordance with NMC standards.
• Leading and supporting the care team throughout each shift.
• Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues while championing best practice.

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
• Confidence using IT systems and electronic care records.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
