Your salary, benefits & hours of work

£27,800 per annum. Annual profit-related bonus on top, based on how the company performs.

Flexible working: an 8‑hour day worked between 7:30am and 5:30pm, with on‑site presence needed between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

What you’ll do as the Science Graduate/NPD Development Technician

You’ll support the development of new products, working closely with the Development Scientists.

  • Prepare theoretical new product proposals and formulate lab‑scale work.
  • Prepare samples for taste, colour and product assessment.
  • Assess the suitability of new raw materials for commercial products.
  • Work with supply chain, suppliers and the Quality team on raw material sourcing and approvals.
  • Support R&D projects, including data collection and trial reports.
  • Help ensure processes are followed so scale‑up is right the first time.
What you’ll need to apply for the Science Graduate/NPD Development Technician
  • A degree in a life science or related science‑based subject (such as food science, chemistry, biology, biomedical or forensic science).
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking, with confident numeracy.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams.
