7.5T Delivery Driver

The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers on behalf of our reputable client based in Tredegar
. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated drivers to join a well-established logistics team, delivering goods across the South East of England
.

You will be responsible for carrying out between 3-4 deliveries per day using a 7.5t vehicle
, with a Drivers Mate delivering various goods to commercial and residential locations. All routes are pre-planned, and the transport team offers great support throughout the day.

This is a Monday to Friday role with 7:30 AM starts
, giving you a consistent work routine and your evenings free.

• Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle to make multi-drop deliveries across the South East
• Safely securing loads using ratchet straps
• Performing routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Delivering excellent customer service at each drop
• Adhering to road safety rules and company policies

• A valid Category C1 (7.5t) licence
• Up-to-date CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to strap and secure loads safely
• Punctual, professional, and self-motivated

• Competitive hourly rate of £14.00
