What you'll do
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that their needs are accurately reflected in our software solutions.
  • Develop detailed documentation, including functional specifications and user stories, to guide the development process.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software solutions to ensure they meet client specifications and quality standards before deployment.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to clients during the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition to our solutions.
  • Work closely with the development team to communicate client feedback and suggest enhancements based on user experience.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in existing solutions and recommend actionable changes.
  • Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance your knowledge and contribute to the evolution of our solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and presentations to showcase our solutions to potential clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials and internal teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and client feedback to senior management.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a solutions analyst or similar role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and compliance standards relevant to software solutions in the public sector.
Nice to have
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to present findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL, which can enhance your ability to collaborate with development teams.
  • Previous experience working with government agencies or understanding their unique challenges and requirements.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
Skills & tools
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms to manage tasks and track progress.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems to manage client interactions and feedback.
  • Ability to utilize data analysis tools to assess performance metrics and derive insights.
