• Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to:
  Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for material selection, characterization, qualification, and performance evaluation.
• Establish and maintain material standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Design and execute material characterization studies and interpret results to support engineering and manufacturing decisions.
• Lead material-related problem solving, root cause investigations, and failure analyses.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.
• Partner with suppliers to evaluate, qualify, and develop material solutions that meet technical and business objectives.
• Support material-related risk assessments, validation activities, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Evaluate emerging materials and technologies and contribute to long-term technology strategies.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to customers, suppliers, and leadership teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field Required. Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science preferred, Polymer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience (4-6 with Master’s) in materials science, polymers, advanced manufacturing, product development, process engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience solving complex material-related technical challenges in a manufacturing, product development, or engineering environment.
