• Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to:
  Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for material selection, characterization, qualification, and performance evaluation.
• Establish and maintain material standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Design and execute material characterization studies and interpret results to support engineering and manufacturing decisions.
• Lead material‑related problem solving, root cause investigations, and failure analyses.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.
• Partner with suppliers to evaluate, qualify, and develop material solutions that meet technical and business objectives.
• Support material‑related risk assessments, validation activities, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Evaluate emerging materials and technologies and contribute to long‑term technology strategies.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to customers, suppliers, and leadership teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians throughout the organization.

Given your capabilities and experience, you will be expected to identify ways to shorten project durations and lead systemic changes to current processes and procedures that enable greater efficiencies.

Innovation and ideation are critical aspects of your role and you will be expected to generate continuous improvement suggestions and support the implementation of them. Your expertise coupled with your accomplishments and collaboration with others to deliver results will also be considered.

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field Required.
• Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science preferred, Polymer Science,…
