Position

MRI Technician PT – Corewell Health, Trenton Hospital (Part‑time, Day shift, 20 hours per week)

Sign‑on Bonus: Up to $10,000 for external hires and internal new graduates currently in a student role.

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193‑bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university‑affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened in 1961 and joined Corewell Health in September 2014. It provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit, and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • 1–3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (MR). Additional MR certification required within 1 year of hire. Must remain in good standing with ARRT. Technologists working in their modality before 2008 are exempt from additional modality certification.
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
  • CRT‑Radiation Therapist – ARRT (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Radiographer (R) – ARRT (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Sonographer (S) – ARRT (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Sonographer (S) – ARDMS (Upon hire required).
  • CRT‑Nuclear Medicine Technologist (N) – ARRT (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Vascular Technologist (VT) – ARDMS (Upon hire required or later).
  • CRT‑Musculoskeletal (MSK) – ARDMS (Upon hire required and CRT‑MRI: ARRT board registry required 1 year).
  • CRT‑Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist – ARMRIT (Upon hire required 1 year).
