, is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic! The Diesel Technician is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The position requires a high level of proficiency and working knowledge related to heavy duty diesel engine diagnosis and repair, a comprehension of fleet maintenance operations, understanding of electrical and preventive maintenance, and DOT inspection experience and knowledge.
Competitive hourly pay – $30–$40 hr., DOE (based on experience).
ShiftMonday‑Friday, 10 am–6 pm, paid weekly on Friday.

- Prepare vehicle records and report manually and on a computer
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on medium to heavy duty vehicles
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare documentation
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Inspect and work on the under parts of vehicles
- Move parts to and from job sites; install or remove on vehicles
- Interact with clients via email or phone as needed
- Perform other duties as required
- At least 5 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or possession of an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
- Commercial Driver’s License class “A” or “B” preferredli>
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle for troubleshooting
- Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
- Knowledge of handheld scan tools and vehicle diagnostics
- Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Excel, Word, fleet management systems, and email
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing job duties
- Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants
- Ability to access any area of the equipment or vehicle for maintenance
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
