Project Engineer

IEW Construction Group, a Civil/Heavy Highway contractor, seeks a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in construction of complex projects, ensuring professional standards and compliance with plans, budgets, schedules, and EEO standards.

• Support Project Manager throughout construction to completion.
• Ensure quality control compliance with plans & specifications.
• Maintain schedule and budgets, review project costs.
• Review and execute material purchase orders.
• Coordinate delivery of materials, scheduling of equipment/operators and subcontractors.
• Set up field office, yard, storage, etc. for IEW & owners.
• Generate work schedules in required formats.
• Coordinate required work force.
• Visit job site as necessary.
• Schedule and attend applicable project meetings.
• Attend operation meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work with union halls to conform to company EEO standards.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• 3 years' working knowledge of civil construction a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge of heavy construction and bridge preferred.
