Visiting Educator 2026‑2027 – High School Science (Grades 9–12) – Semester – Trenton, NJ

Salary: $60K-90K+ and a $4,500 sign on bonus

Foundation Academies seeks a plug‑and‑play High School Science Visiting Educator (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Environmental Science) who can start strong on Day 1 with no instructional ramp or coaching dependency.

Time commitment:
On‑site Mon–Fri ~7:30 a.m.–4:15 p.m. (or mutually agreed school‑day schedule) plus 2–4 after‑school events/month; routine prep/grading outside the day.

• Active NJDOE science certification (Standard, CE, CEAS) at start.
• NGSS‑aligned instruction and lab safety mastery (PPE, chemical handling, equipment logs).
• Immediate classroom management capacity.
• NJ fingerprint/background clearance and TB complete pre‑start.

Deliver rigorous NGSS lessons/labs, maintain perfect lab safety, keep plans/grades/attendance on time, and communicate proactively with families on Day 1.

Curriculum maps, lab resources, systems access, opportunities to attend external professional development, and a mission‑driven team. Semester role; renewal/FT conversion possible based on results.
