Overview
Music Teacher (6–8) 2026–2027 at Foundation Academies, a K‑12 free public charter school in Trenton, New Jersey.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:15 pm. Salary: $60,500–$90,000 with merit‑based increases annually.
- Develop and deliver standard‑aligned, culturally responsive lessons that encourage creativity, self‑expression, and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress, provide timely constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom materials, technology, and equipment to support student learning.
- Model positive, inclusive classroom behavior and school‑wide community leadership.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and collaborative planning activities.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- NJ Music certification or minimum GPA 3.00 (post 2015) or 2.75 (pre 2015).
- Two years or more of urban education experience preferred.
- Track record of measurable student success and achievement.
