Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times and assisting with banking needs.
  • Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
  • Recognize opportunities and cross‑sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
  • Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them about self‑service options.
  • Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, creating a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Responsibilities may extend to supporting nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ months cash handling experience.
  • 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to identify and elevate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
  • Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
  • Energetic, organized and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Salary

Base Pay Range: $30,000 – $47,000 USD per year.
