The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Radiation oncology secretary coordinates activities at the front desk/reception area and

interacts effectively with the Radiation Oncologists and all team members,

Qualifications:

Required:

* High school graduate or equivalent

* Computer experience

Preferred:

* Previous experience in a medical office

Scheduling Requirements:

Per Diem Day

8am - 4:30pm M-F as needed

Essential Functions:

* Registers patients, reviews patient insurance plans, maintains accurate records in regarding referral, authorization for radiation therapy, office visits etc,

* Answers phones professionally, records messages and forwards calls to appropriate party, reschedule and schedules appointments timely

* Files patient information in a timely fashion

* Excellent communication skills, time management and problem solving skills
