Job Description:

TPH is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate psychiatric care during overnight shifts. This is a travel opportunity for a committed professional with a minimum of 1.5 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience. The assignment is initially set for six weeks, with the potential for renewal based on performance and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in a structured overnight setting
• Monitor patient behavior and safety, responding promptly to clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing mental health crises

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of assignment
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience
• Proven experience working night shifts in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Strong assessment skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and compassion
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
