Summary (Basic Purpose of the Job)Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Affairs, this position is responsible to manage both organizational as well as programmatic activities related to the regulatory process in the Capital Health Medical Group (CHMG) and the respective governing bodies including but not limited to DNV, CMS, The Joint Commission, Department of Health (NJ & PA), ISO-9001, and others. Manages activities related to continuous survey readiness in the Capital Health Medical Group and assists in the hospital setting as needed.
The manager serves as a resource for Capital Health Medical Group leaders and staff members regarding regulatory requirements. The manager works closely with teams in planning for program-specific certifications and accreditations. The Manager serves as a resource to leadership in the maintenance of Policies within the Policy Management System, All activities for site surveys are managed. Leads the development of corrective action plans and facilitates the measurement of those actions to assure objective evidence of compliance is achieved.
Education
:
Master of Science in Nursing or a related field.
Experience
:
Two or more years working in the area of regulatory affairs is preferred. Experience working with project management and/or supporting teams to improve acute care hospital /ambulatory care structures and processes is needed. Knowledge of performance improvement concepts is an important part of this role. Experience with Leap Frog survey activities is preferred.

:
Knowledge of DNV, The Joint Commission, ISO-9001, CMS, and Department of Health (NJ & PA) standards. Ability to access and search standards to assist clinical and non-clinical teams in meeting goals and maintaining compliance. Knowledge of quality and performance improvement tools and techniques.
Special Training
:
Must have proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be proficient in the development and use of tracking tools. Familiarity with the DNV and TJC secure extranet sites is preferred.

:
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and support multiple teams simultaneously. Must exercise discretion and independent judgment to achieve CH goals and objectives. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
