SummaryThe Medical Materiel Specialist I will perform general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, quality assurance (QA), cargo preparation and deployment, including medical‑controlled items stored in a secure location, operation of various materials‑handling equipment, and utilization of DoD MMIS records.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 CBRN Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP‑related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX.
- Conduct monthly reviews and provide monthly reports to the COR on SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.
- Serve as Logical SLEP coordinator.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track and document the usage of medical materials.
- Assist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); familiar with, and able to navigate/utilize, MMIS.
- Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
- Travel may be required.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
Hourly salary range: $16.56 – $20.70.
