We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to design and implement modern data modeling solutions for various databases, including AWS Redshift, S3, Dynamo

DB, DB2, and Postgres.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, database tuning, and developing structured and unstructured data models to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data models using relational, dimensional, snowflake, star schemas, and data lake architectures.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to build data strategies, data flows, and conceptual models.
  • Optimize and update data models throughout project implementation phases.
  • Perform reverse engineering of physical data models and analyze variances across source systems.
  • Develop best practices for naming conventions and coding standards to ensure consistency.
  • Evaluate system integration challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Work with IT teams to address performance requirements and system limitations.
  • Review and recommend modifications to existing software for improved efficiency and performance.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling for databases such as DB2, AWS Redshift, Dynamo

    DB, Postgres, SQL Server, and PEGA applications.
  • 6+ years of experience with data modeling tools and software.
  • Proficiency in AWS and other cloud systems.
  • Strong SQL and data profiling skills across various relational databases.
  • Experience building data lakes for structured and unstructured data.
  • Expertise in relational, dimensional, and master data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of database tuning techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
  • Knowledge of modern data management trends and modeling techniques.
