Enterprise Solutions Architect – Trenton, NJ (Hybrid)

• Ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty, weigh multiple factors/constraints, and consider long‑term implications of architectural choices
• Knowledge of electronic data processing platforms and software
• Knowledge of database/data dictionary systems and applications
• Knowledge of application portfolio management, software design patterns, application integration, legacy system modernization, and application lifecycle management
• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, master data management, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and data quality frameworks
• Knowledge of infrastructure components, platforms, development tools, middleware, and technology standards (on‑prem and cloud‑based)
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, informative reports/documentation on database systems, including creation/maintenance of data dictionary documents
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with various levels of data center and department personnel
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to maintain essential records and files
• Ability to learn how to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
• Experience in government or regulatory environments
• TOGAF Certification, Certified Enterprise Architect, or similar recognized enterprise architecture credentials that demonstrate formal training
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications
• Multi‑cloud experience is particularly valuable
• Proven track record leading large‑scale digital transformation initiatives, cloud migrations, or enterprise modernization programs from start to end
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices
• Comfort presenting to executive leadership, board members, or external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex technical strategies in business terms
