Position: IT Security Coordinator (On-Site: Trenton, NJ)
Job Overview Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an IT Security Coordinator to oversee cybersecurity policies, risk management, and compliance across multiple facilities. This role will focus on protecting company data and infrastructure, maintaining CMMC compliance, and implementing security strategies to support business operations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with industry standards, NIST frameworks, and CMMC requirements.

- Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability reviews while coordinating remediation efforts.

- Manage security architecture and develop strategic initiatives to protect IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and data across multiple sites.

- Oversee incident response planning, investigate security incidents, and coordinate corrective actions.

- Collaborate with IT personnel and department leaders to integrate security best practices into business operations.

- Support security budgeting, project management, and employee education while promoting compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Proven experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security management.

- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, database security, firewalls, intrusion detection, authentication, and security monitoring systems.

- Experience with security assessments, risk management, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation.

- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks and CMMC requirements.

- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills; certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
