A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilled Service Manager (BAS Controls) to oversee service operations across New Jersey. This role is responsible for leading the BAS service team, supporting clients throughout mission‑critical, commercial, and institutional environments. • Manage daily operations for the BAS field service team across multiple project sites.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, and internal teams to ensure timely service resolutions.
• Assign and schedule field technicians to optimize response times and workload distribution.
• Monitor service requests, dispatch activities, reporting metrics, and documentation accuracy.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex or high‑priority service issues.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to support team growth and performance.
• Implement standardized processes and best practices to enhance service efficiency.
• Support BAS startup, functional testing, and commissioning phases.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues at the controller, network, and system‑integration level.
• Modify wire sheet logic, sequences, and programming as required.
• Verify control sequences and commission system functionality on completed projects.
• Provide user training on BAS operations, system navigation, and maintenance practices.

• Experience leading BAS or HVAC service operations in a commercial or mission‑critical environment.
• Strong technical skills in BAS programming, integration, and field troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing service teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Experience supporting data centers or mission‑critical facilities is preferred.
