Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor located outside of Trenton, NJ with a large, well‑established industrial manufacturing company. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead mechanical and electrical maintenance teams, support equipment reliability initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient operation of plant assets in a unionized manufacturing environment.

• Administer and enforce plant safety programs to ensure a safe work environment
• Supervise union maintenance employees and coordinate work with vendors and contractors
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders; assign and prioritize work accordingly
• Coordinate and direct daily activities of mechanical and electrical maintenance crews
• Assist technicians in diagnosing and resolving equipment and machinery malfunctions
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximize uptime
• Maintain spare parts inventory to support efficient operations
• Utilize equipment documentation and maintenance schedules to improve maintenance programs
• Develop and implement cost‑saving and reliability improvement initiatives
• Eliminate recurring maintenance issues through root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Perform administrative duties including crew scheduling, reporting, and safety conversations

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience supervising maintenance or production crews in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including extended workdays, weekends, and holidays
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Experience supervising unionized employees or comparable military leadership experience preferred
