Industrial Construction Department Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage field service operations, including personnel, project execution, safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability.

- Prepare and oversee estimates and bids for moderate to large industrial projects, ensuring appropriate costs, risks, scope, and margins are accounted for.

- Lead, develop, and train Service Representatives, Project Managers, Foremen, and other field personnel.

- Monitor project costs and performance, identify potential overruns, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability.

- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, site visits, and resolution of project or service issues.

- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure projects and departmental objectives are successfully executed. Requirements
- Prior supervisory or management experience in industrial field service, construction, mechanical/electrical trades, project engineering, or a related environment.

- Journeyman-level expertise in a relevant mechanical or electrical trade, or a technical/business degree combined with applicable industrial experience.

- Experience managing industrial projects, estimating/bidding work, and monitoring project costs and profitability.

- Strong leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and employee development skills.

- Ability to read project requirements, assess operational risks, develop work plans, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability and willingness to travel to customer jobsites and work in industrial field environments as needed.
