As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a critical role in expanding clinical services across Mercer and Ocean Counties. You'll provide nursing assessment, clinical monitoring, infectious disease screening, medication support, and education while working closely with prescribing clinicians, the medical director, and Care Coordinators.

Provide compassionate nursing care to individuals receiving treatment for opioid use disorder
Support infectious disease prevention, screening, and treatment linkage
Provide medication-related education and clinical monitoring
Support MOUD services at the Ocean County site
Help prevent and respond to opioid overdoses
Provide tobacco cessation support
Educate clients about medication adherence and overdose prevention
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Help expand access to comprehensive treatment and recovery services
The Registered Nurse provides clinical nursing services across both project sites and supports in-person MOUD services at the Ocean County location. This position works closely with prescribing clinicians, the medical director, Care Coordinators, and other clinical staff.
Nursing Assessment & Clinical SupportYour responsibilities may include:
Provide nursing assessments, triage, and clinical monitoring at both project sites.
Assess client needs and communicate clinical concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Monitor client health and treatment progress.
Coordinate with prescribing clinicians, the medical director, and Care Coordinators regarding client care.
Provide clinical support within the scope of nursing practice and organizational policies.
Participate in clinical chart review and quality improvement activities.
Provide education, screening, and testing for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted infections, and latent tuberculosis.
Provide education regarding infectious disease prevention
Ensure clients with positive screening results are appropriately linked to care
Offer Hepatitis A and B vaccination when clinically indicated
Provide education and referrals for pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis when appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation of screening, testing, education, and referrals
Support medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services
Support MOUD administration, induction monitoring, and dosing consistent with applicable regulations and OTP policies
Provide in-person buprenorphine and extended-release naltrexone services at the Ocean County site
