Location: Trenton, NJ or Stockertown, PA (report to either office)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Travel: ~25% local travel (NJ/PA region)
Base Pay Range$80,000 – $120,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned, motivated, and driven Sales Engineer with strong experience selling services in an industrial environment. Ideal backgrounds include Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC/R, or Machine Shop/Fabrication services

- Prospect and generate new business across assigned industrial sectors.
- Identify and develop opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
- Coordinate client needs with project managers and field foremen.
- Participate in trade shows and industry organizations.
- Track all sales activity and client interactions in Hub Spot CRM
. - Collaborate closely with operations teams for pricing, quoting, and project handoff.
- Occasional involvement in delivery when engineering expertise is required.
A full range of industrial services, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and related technical solutions.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent field experience in the industrial sector.
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience within industrial services.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable shifting between small and large project scopes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
- Hub Spot CRM experience.
- Doc Link software experience (highly desired).
- Advanced Excel proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to read digital and printed materials for extended periods.
- Regular walking and sitting; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Comfortable working in loud industrial environments during site visits.
- Approximately 75% office‑based
, 25% local client/site travel. - Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed.
- Weekly in‑office meetings in either NJ or PA location.
- Will inherit active and dormant accounts but must also prospect.
