Job SummaryThis position leads a selling team of Account Managers-THD across multiple states, accountable for achieving sales and budget goals in Andersen and Storm Doors. The role provides direction and leadership to Account Managers-THD and works closely with delivery partners in The Home Depot Group, area and regional sales leaders, and cross‑functional teams across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities- Sales Facilitation:
Achieve sales goals through coaching and developing Account Managers‑THD, including business plan review, sales strategy development, budgeting, and providing field sales knowledge to internal partners. - Sales Completion:
Drive revenue by assisting Account Managers‑THD with closing opportunities and building relationships among The Home Depot, pro customers, and consumers. - Pre‑Sales:
Set expectations and motivate the sales team, manage and measure performance, collaborate and solve complex problems, mentor Account Managers to sell the portfolio based on customer need. - Engaged Selling:
Assist the development of customer solutions, resolve customer issues and Home Depot disputes, leverage internal resources to further sales opportunities, maintain ongoing relationships. - Leadership:
Guide internal and external customers, prioritize to corporate objectives, manage performance, coaching, safety expectations, hiring, career development, and recruitment of talent. - Budget & Planning:
Manage the region’s budget, sales tracking and project completion, set sales objectives, develop a business plan, evaluate market trends and competitive information.
- 4‑year degree in business or related field, or equivalent sales experience (preferably in a leadership position).
- 5+ years combined retail experience; proven track record of success in a retail environment.
- Experience with CRM software/Salesforce (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience achieving measurable sales, executing strategies, and delivering budget results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to train, develop, mentor; highly organized and detail oriented with strong relationship management.
Pay is based on experience, education, location, certifications, etc. Pay range: $ – $.
