As an Installation Technician you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality door systems to our customers. You will be responsible for installing a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, ensuring each project is completed accurately, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturer‑recommended procedures and specifications.
- Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing job numbers, travel time, any discrepancies, shortages, or inefficiencies in jobsite conditions.
- Maintain proper truck stock and inventory.
- Maintain company vehicle in appearance and per maintenance agreement.
- Interface with customer, end‑user, and general contractor in a courteous professional manner.
- Participate in training programs offered and remain AAADM certified.
- Perform all work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to self, co‑workers, contractors, and the public.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120 V) wiring (access control systems a plus).
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
- $25‑$35 per hour; the final pay rate offered will depend on education, experience, skill level, and other qualifications.
