As a Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
- Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
- Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
- Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120 V) wiring (access control systems a plus).
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
Hourly: $25–$35 (final rate based on education, experience, and other qualifications). Overtime pay in accordance with state and federal laws. Company‑provided vehicle for job‑related travel, uniforms, and safety PPE.
