Mechanical Engineer

Position: MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Experteer Overview  In this role you will drive design of mechanical components and systems from concept to Start of Production within the NPD process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasible, cost‑aware designs that meet performance targets. You will define tests, develop design documentation, and push for right‑first‑time solutions. This is a hands‑on, multidisciplinary role shaping the next generation of products in a fast‑paced environment.

Conduct preliminary feasibility studies with Industrial Design and R&D labs
Identify risks that could affect development timelines
Create, manage and maintain the Product Design Specification (PDS)
Execute CAD design for parts and product layouts and maintain technical docs
Support R&D lab in prototype preparation and testing
Prepare and conduct Design FMEA (DFMEA)
Prepare and maintain preliminary technical BOM
Collaborate with local R&D and Purchasing to evaluate costs/investments
Coordinate with moulding departments on mould manufacturing processes
Support Engineering Build and Pre‑production activities across Q&C and Production
Lead and participate in technical design reviews and NPD meetings
Prepare technical documentation on project status and next steps
Responsabilità   BEng / BSc Qualified
Experience in design of mechanical components & systems
Knowledge of 3D design tools (CATIA V5 / SIEMENS NX)
Knowledge of mass production product development
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and test result evaluation
