Mechanical Engineer – Engineering Simulation & AI

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the development and validation of industrial use cases for an AI-driven engineering simulation platform. The role focuses on solid mechanics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, bridging high-fidelity numerical simulations and AI-based surrogate models.
Key responsibilities
- Design and parametrization of mechanical and thermo-fluid simulation cases
- Generation of high-fidelity datasets using FEM/FVM solvers
- Validation of AI model outputs against traditional numerical simulations
- Collaboration with AI researchers and software engineers to translate physical models into deployable solutions
- Technical support during industrial pilot projects
Required profile
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong background in solid mechanics, heat transfer and/or CFD
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, OpenFOAM)
- Experience with parametric simulations and large datasets is a plus
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and applied R&D environments
