Computer Information Systems​/Cybersecurity Adjunct Instructor Trinidad State College

Trinidad State College is seeking qualified applicants for a Computer Information Systems/Cybersecurity Instructor position at the Trinidad Campus located in Trinidad, Colorado. This is an adjunct position that reports directly to the Dean of Instruction and Vice President of Academic Affairs. The hourly pay rate is per credit hour.

• Teaches courses as assigned within faculty workload guidelines and meets all scheduled classes.
• Provides adequate preparation and development of material for both campus/online courses.
• Maintains program equipment, lab materials, and supplies.
• Participates in marketing, recruitment, and retention activities.
• Maintains regularly scheduled office hours for consultation or advisement with students.
• Assists in the development and implementation of approved program curriculum and syllabi; participates in cooperative programming with colleagues.
• Assesses program and course-level student learning outcomes relative to industry demand and transfer. Participates in college-wide assessment of student learning activities and/or projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CIS, IT, or related field. Industry experience and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
• The successful candidate must submit to and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to teach CIS/Cybersecurity courses within the TSC Catalog.
• Must be agreeable to working with a diverse population and with all ranges of student abilities.
• Must have a strong commitment and positive attitude toward Community College instruction.
