Employment Type
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Trotwood, OH
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries and product questions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding needs and project requirements
- Evaluate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with company capabilities
- Partner with engineering and production teams to develop tailored transformer solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Support commercial negotiations with sales leadership to close deals
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
- Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Proven sales engineering or technical sales experience (industrial/electrical/transformer experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of transformer function, design, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts for clients
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, inquiries, and timelines effectively
- Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, 10% internationally
- Experience with industrial, renewable, or utility customers preferred
- Familiarity with international transformer standards and certifications a plus
- Multilingual skills (English/Spanish) a bonus
