Position: Resident Manager - Rock Creek Ridge Apartments

Seeking a full‑time Resident Manager to join our team at Rock Creek Ridge Apartments (168 units) in Happy Valley, OR. We offer spacious 1, 2, and 3‑bedroom apartment homes with washer & dryer. The community is conveniently located near the heart of Happy Valley, close to shopping and restaurants. Be sure to ask about our employee discount available at sister communities.

As a Resident Manager, you will greet visitors to the community, provide information about the property, and engage in leasing activities. Your attention to detail assists you as you explain rental agreements and move‑in packages. You will use Yardi & Tenant Tech to enter data and produce accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. You must be one who gets great satisfaction from ensuring that all resident issues are resolved in a professional and friendly manner.

The Resident Manager is responsible for the success of the property and supervises office and maintenance staff. They are responsible for adhering to and enforcing company policy & procedures and consistently acting in the best of Carla Properties Ltd. The Resident Manager’s specific duties may vary from site to site, depending on the property's requirements and the size of the staff.

You love working with people and performing a variety of tasks throughout your day. Your team enjoys working with you as you support their functions and workflow. You play an essential role in Carla Properties’ success!

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of multifamily housing industry experience & 4+ years of prior Resident Manager experience.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and stellar organizational skills.
  • Experience with Yardi (3+ years) and Tenant Tech (1+ year).
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.

Can you manage multiple tasks at once in a fast‑paced office environment? Are you able to communicate effectively in English with people from many different backgrounds? If so, you may be perfect for this Resident Manager position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a Full‑Time position. Work schedule is Sunday – Thursday with Friday & Saturday as days off. Working hours are Sundays, 9 am – 5 pm;
Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 6 pm (39.5 hrs/week).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Monthly salary range: $5,850 – $6,350 (DOE) + Move‑in Commission & Rate Change Commission.

Benefits:
Paid medical insurance (full premium paid for the employee), optional dental insurance, 6 paid holidays/year, sick & vacation time, 401(k) with employer contribution up to 4% and immediate vesting, employer‑paid short‑term disability, long‑term disability, group life insurance with accidental death coverage.
