Job summary:
As a Building Inspector, you will be a key member of our inspection service team, collaborating with registered builders to ensure homes not only meet NHBC Standards and Building Regulations but also thrive under your expert guidance.
Elevate your career by fostering exceptional customer relationships, championing NHBC's value, and making a lasting impact on the construction landscape.
What you’ll be doingBased from home but out and about every day, you’ll work with our registered builders to ensure the new homes they are building meet NHBC Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant legislation. You will have the opportunity to build excellent working relationships with the site managers on your patch, working with them to identify and prevent construction defects. It’s an important job, helping us to manage our insurance risk and to create the very best homes for new home buyers.
You can expect full training and the ongoing support of your line manager and wider team. You’ll have control of your own diary and the autonomy to do the job as you think best. Your working day will start when you leave home (not when you arrive at your first call) and we won’t ask you to work weekends because we believe a good work/life balance is essential.
