Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Trowbridge, seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. Basic salary up to £28,588 per annum, increasing after probation completion
Performance-related bonus, with on-target earnings of £32,000 to £33,000 annually
40-hour week, Monday to Friday, on a split shift rota (8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm)

Duties of a Service Advisor:

Greet customers within the Service Department, providing a professional and courteous experience
Liaise extensively with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and ensure timely updates to customers
Manage customer appointments and service deadlines efficiently
Up-sell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
Coordinate with the manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and follow warranty procedures
Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting workload management and ensuring operational efficiency

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and IT literacy
A UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction
Knowledge of warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers is beneficial, but not mandatory
