Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Trowbridge, seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. • Basic salary up to £28,588 per annum, increasing after probation completion
• Performance-related bonus, with on-target earnings of £32,000 to £33,000 annually
• 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, on a split shift rota (8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm)

• Greet customers within the Service Department, providing a professional and courteous experience
• Liaise extensively with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and ensure timely updates to customers
• Manage customer appointments and service deadlines efficiently
• Up-sell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
• Coordinate with the manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs and follow warranty procedures
• Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting workload management and ensuring operational efficiency

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and IT literacyA UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers is beneficial, but not mandatory
