Zero‑hour Variable Relief Library Assistant
Salary: £12.85 per hour - £13.05 per hour
Hours per week: 0 hours
Interview date:
Friday 17th July 2026
- Assist customers with queries and help them find books and information
- Support users with IT and technology assistance
- Shelve books, maintain displays and promote library stock and resources
- Cover all operating hours at Trowbridge and Bradford‑On‑Avon Libraries, including evenings until 7pm (weekdays) and Saturdays
- Flexible and available to cover all operating hours as required by Wiltshire Council
- Resilient, friendly, and enthusiastic
- Public library experience is not essential; training will be provided
- No obligation to be available; council may not offer work
