What We Offer
Salary:
Unqualified Lecturer: £14,647per year, pro rata of the FTE £29,294 per year
Qualified Lecturer: £15,942 - £20,407 per year, pro rata of the FTE £31,885 £40,814 per year
(Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)
Contract Type:
One-Year Fixed Term Contract
Part Time 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

What You'll Do
Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes, including GCSE and Functional Skills
Deliver engaging, accessible lessons that develop learners' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
Support learners with varying abilities, including those who may lack confidence in English
Use creative, inclusive and practical approaches to make English relevant to everyday life, employment and further study
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
What You'll Bring
A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
A teaching qualification is welcomed but not essential
