As an SEMH Mentor, you will provide consistent one-to-one and small-group support to young people, helping them understand and manage their emotions, develop positive coping strategies and build the confidence they need to overcome barriers to learning.

The Role As an SEMH Mentor, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering structured one-to-one and small-group mentoring sessions for pupils with SEMH needs. Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and acting as a consistent source of support. Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to monitor progress and implement appropriate support strategies. About You The ideal SEMH Mentor will be patient, empathetic and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting young people's emotional wellbeing.

You should be confident remaining calm in challenging situations, building positive relationships and encouraging young people to recognise their strengths and achieve their potential.

What We Offer This SEMH Mentor position offers £85-£110 per day, depending on experience, with PAYE weekly pay and full-time or part-time opportunities starting in September 2026.
