£31,885  £40,814 per year

Why Join Our Creative Team?

Based at our Trowbridge Campus, you'll teach in outstanding specialist facilities, including our  £1.2 million #Tech Trowbridge multi-camera broadcast arena , professional single-camera production equipment, green screen studio, post-production suites, and industry-standard Adobe Creative Cloud software.

You'll also work alongside our wider Creative Faculty, collaborating with colleagues across Art, Design, Music, Games Development and Performing Arts, creating exciting cross-disciplinary opportunities for both staff and learners.

What Youll Do

Teach and assess learners on Film/Video & Media Production
Deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant lessons covering film production, video production, digital content creation, post-production, and media theory
Develop creative schemes of learning, lesson plans, and assessment strategies that motivate learners and support outstanding achievement
Support learners to develop the technical, creative, and professional skills required for progression into higher education or careers within the media and creative industries
Use industry-standard equipment and software to provide hands-on learning experiences across production and post-production
Organise and participate in live projects, employer engagement activities, competitions, enrichment opportunities, and community collaborations
Provide pastoral support, contribute to learner recruitment, enrolment, and induction, and monitor learner progress through constructive feedback and regular assessment
Contribute to curriculum development while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, teaching, learning, and student experience

What Youll Bring

A degree or higher technical qualification in Media, Film, Moving Image Production, or a related subject
Strong practical knowledge of Film, Video and Digital Media production
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
Working knowledge of camera operation, production workflows, and live broadcast processes
Industry experience within film, television, digital media, content creation, broadcasting, or a related creative sector
A passion for inspiring young people and helping them achieve their potential
Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
A Level 4 teaching qualification or above is welcomed  but if you don't have one yet, we'll support you to achieve it while you work
