Finance Director

FD Recruit are working exclusively with a leading, B2B distributor of high quality outdoor and leisure products, to source an experienced Finance Director who can hit the ground running and provide strong, steady financial leadership and be instrumental in driving the business forward in conjunction with the Managing Director, following the retirement of the current long standing incumbent. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team you will offer not only financial guidance, but also commercial and strategic advice and liaise closely with external advisors.

This is a role for someone who is a ‘doer, not a delegator’ and has done it before, knows what “good” looks like and wants to get under the skin of a business and be instrumental in its growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Financial accounts for audit and statutory purposes
• Commercial support to business, employees and Managing Director
• Monthly Management accounts production
• Cashflow and banking Forecasts (daily)
• Annual planning process
• Forecasting of year end outturn
• Management of Insurance, renewals, compliance, claims.
• International payments (daily)
• VAT return – production, sign off, submission.
• Management of banking and Confidential Invoicing relationships
